Hi. We're CSGrappling.

Who and what are we? Catch Submission Grappling, is a new spin on traditional no-gi Jiu Jitsu tournaments. The focus is set on submissions instead of points, there are still points just not in the traditional sense.

What makes us Different?Double elimination, It's local and open to the public and we offer onsite EMT's.

Double elimination:We want competitors to feel like they've had a chance to show what they've learned rather than face elimination in the first round due to points. Submissions are key in this tournament. We've seen one too many matches where a competitor gets a slight lead then coasts to an easy victory without ever attempting a submission. It's equally heartbreaking to see the loser of the match go home without ever getting a real chance to learn or display his or her knowledge. We want to see everyone go home feeling like they've accomplished something unique and had a fair shot at the podium.

It's local and open to the public:We are competitors so we know what its like to have to pack your gear up at 6 am on a saturday, drive an hour and a half to some overcrowded stadium or school, fight for parking and then do it all again when you leave. We have felt the need for more local events, more chances to meet the people that train next door and create working relationships with other schools and coaches in the inland empire area.

On site certified EMT's:Thanks to the guys over at TCB medical we will have skilled professional EMT's overseeing all competitors matches. You and your child's safety are our number one concern, we want to provide a safe and ever vigilant environment for all competitors.
